Some of you have expressed an interest in contributing by writing on this site. Well, I suppose I need to establish some editorial guidelines and here they are.

Don’t worry so much about following my style. Different people need different styles and need to hear things in a different manner. You can find your own style and it is fine by me - just try to stick to the objective of the site.

The main objective of this site is to illustrate what does work and what doesn’t work. If a book doesn’t work for your situation, then say that and say why - it will provide value. I don’t care if it disagrees with something I have said. I know my situation will be different from others and there will be different variables; however I think it would always be helpful to put this kind of context around different situations as it relates to themes or concepts in all marriage saving efforts.

With that objective in mind, I don’t plan to exercise a great deal of “editorial” decisions, unless someone just starts getting out of control and blatantly bad mouths Jesus or something. I suspect that I may even allow some of that, if there is evidence of their “struggle” or “growth” towards Him - in essence capturing the “I once was lost, but now am found” phenomenon.

I believe people are entitled to opinions about Him - even if dead wrong, and that is the beauty of our God! We can choose Him or reject Him and it is up to us to decide! It would be interesting to capture the rejections and see how their marriages pan out without His involvement.
I may edit these guidelines as new situations arise, but for now that is it.

Worried about someone finding out who you really are? Yeah I know, some of this stuff can be embarrassing. Just change your name - or write under the title of “Crazy in Love” or “Anonymous Middle Aged Guy” or “Anonymous Twenty Something Chick” and don’t worry I’m not going to share your real name with anyone - promise.

If you don’t feel like writing much, at least tell everyone about any miracles you may have experienced.

You’ll need to register (112 hits) first and then send a note to admin@glassgloves.com to have your privileges upgraded. By default, everyone can read, but not write. You’ll need to be able to write.
