I’ll probably be taking the site offline for a couple of days here in the coming week for maintenance. Also, I found some bugs in the integration of the forum to the main blog that didn’t surface until after I reached a certain threshold of posts. There are at least 300 posts on this site now.
I know spammers need to feed their families too, but in this case I am investing probably almost 8 man hours due them feeding their family. Spammers – karma is real, so it would be helping yourself if you would choose to migrate to another profession
The site will probably go down this weekend for a bit. With any luck it won’t take longer than an hour, but could take a whole day.
I apologize to any subscribers to RSS feeds that have had to view dirty dirty jungle of love viagra advertisements and such.

I’ve made a number of code upgrades behind the scenes and am working on making the site more integrated. Watch out for bugs will ya? Email a d m i n @ g l ass gl ove s. com if there are issue please. One of the changes is allowing blog comments to dump directly into the forum. I’m still working out the integration of this piece, so comments may be a bit crazy until all the bugs are worked out. Once it is complete though it should allow people to interact more fluidly between the blog and the forum.

Okay, the forum is working at long last. Turns out it was an issue with an upgrade to PHP that occurred behind the scenes on the web hosting provider. I created a test account and it seemed to send the verification email and what not. Any hoo – thanks once again to Paul for taking the time to let me know that something was amiss.
In addition, I went ahead and mass approved a number of forum accounts that failed to specify an email address. The system is setup to verify you are a real person by sending you an email, but there were several accounts that didn’t seem to have email addresses. Hopefully this isn’t just more people wanting to sell viagra, send out invitations to passion parties, and give me that 10 million dollars being held in a Nigerian bank account.

Hopefully everything is working again. Clear your cache!
Looks like one of the plugins didn’t like the idea of integrating with a wiki. I disabled it for now, until I can figure out what the problem is.
Drop me a note if you see other errors please, but hopefully I and any volunteers with too much time on their hands can help out with the Free Marriage Saving Guide. It is a skeleton right now, but hopefully that will change.
For those of you who didn’t want to tell your story (i.e., air anonymous dirty laundry), this may be a way to help out by writing stuff without disclosing personal details. You need to be registered to contribute – this is to cut back on spammers. If you can’t write still, let me know and I’ll see about any technical difficulties.
or something like that! It is a ghost town right now, but I hope that changes.

Yes, I messed up something on the site somewhere. A couple of folks had reported this to me, but I had difficulty duplicating the error until now. Just so you know, this was part of setting up the free marriage saving guide I’ve been promising. If you have made in roads on saving your marriage, you are invited to participate ->

If you failed at saving your marriage, perhaps someone else can benefit from what went wrong. Sad, but perhaps it is a way for you to give life to other couples.
Anyway, it hasn’t been written yet, but I’ve got the technical piece almost setup once I clear these bugs up. Hold onto your horses everyone. Thanks Mr. Ray and Paul for letting me know.
